These two hotels are ideally located, one in Chueca, the other close to Plaza Mayor. Brand new, modern and simple decoration, clean,wi-fi equipped, rooms for 2, 4, 6 or 8 people so really practical for families or groups of friends.
Two great addresses at interesting prices and close to good restaurants, museums and key sites in town.

Posada del Leon de Oro

19th century Posada del Léon de Oro enjoyed full renovation in 2010. Its location is ideal, in the Asturias district, just a few steps away from Plaza Mayor, and within walking distance to the most authentic tapas bars in the city. The 17 bedrooms are all different, each with its own modern decor.
And a visit to the hotel's restaurant will get you a chance to admire the remains of a 12th century wall!

Hotel One Shot 23

The 42-room Hotel One Shot 23 boasts great central -but calm- location in the very heart of the Letras district, close to Madrid's cultural and gastronomic sites. Rooms are spacious and carefully decorated in a minimalistic style. Ask for one with a balcony at booking. Breakfast is not served at the hotel but you will be spoilt for choice of cafés as soon as you step out.

A great address and one of the best value for money in town.
