For those staying in Madrid for the summer you will find plenty of entertainment in the 25th edition of Veranos de la Villa. This great musical progam which showcases all styles of music from different generations starts with Paco de Luca in concert in Puerta del Angel on the 29th and 30th June. Puerta de Angel is the centre of the festival and you will be able to see, amoungst others, Noa, Patti Smith, Diana Krall, Herbie Hancock and Elvis Costello. The 13th Festival Internacional de Fotografia y Artes Visuales PhotoEspaña starts on the 9th June with a total of 69 exhibitions in 65 different museums and galleries in Madrid, Cuenca and Lisbon. The official theme this year is the experience and sensory perception of time in photography which is illustrated in the show dedicated to Lázsló Moholy-Nagy in the Ciculo de Bellas Artes.
