The NOTEBOOK Madrid.comExpert facts from local expats since 2001
Culture
Concert : Marianne Faithfull’s concert. Simply fabulous

Golden jubilee for the rock&roll icon who celebrates her 50th anniversary on stage with a world tour. The celebration coincides with the release of her new album ‘Give my love to London’. Without a doubt one of her best albums since ‘Broken English’ in 1979. The beautifully balanced and rhythmical record, alternating soft and energetic songs, was widely praised by the London media.

Dance and Music : Angel Corella and Ara Malikian

The first is graceful and aerial, while the second is vivid and impish. When a ballet dancer unlikely meets a violonist, the result is a beautiful  project: A+A.
These two charismatic and award-winning artists join in body and soul to start the show. Malikian spins around Corella at the sound of his violin and gets so carried away that he starts dancing himself. Both are gradually joined by their respective teams of musicians and dancers. Angel Corella’s company and Ara Malikian’s  string orchestra equally share the stage. A one-of-a-kind show for the whole family you will not want to miss!
